How Fragile We Are
Project statement

In the lockdown in spring 2020 I started to work with wound dressings and gauze. For the cyanotypes I set up the chemistry myself, coated my papers and placed the pieces cut out from gauze on the paper in the semi-darkness. It is exposed outside in the sun. Thus, each sheet is unique. The transparency and delicacy symbolize our vulnerability in this time. The pandemic is invading our most intimate privacy, this symbolizes the underwear.
